**CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To minimize losses through early detection, examination and proper treatment of sick animals in the herd in accordance with divisional health manual. ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Basic animal health science knowledge.
**NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**:
Previous experience working with farm animals especially dairy. COMPETENCIES: Good knowledge in animal diseases, their diagnosis and treatment; Skills in animal handling, machine operation i.e. loaders, tractors; driving cars.
