**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Tend equipment that cleans dirt, scale, and other materials from metal objects with a blast of abrasive material such as steel shots, grit, sand blasting etc.
- Hook up, arrange, and prepare steel product to enter blasting chamber, and start machine.
- Place objects on racks/stands using OH cranes and other equipment and do manual blasting.
- Adjust controls on equipment to regulate pressure and amount of abrasive blast.
- Pour or shovel abrasive material into feed hopper to replenish supply.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machine operates efficiently
- Performs other duties as assigned.
