_**We are hiring for our client in the chemical engineering industry.**_

The Job purpose is to be Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Manufacturing. The role operates as a Global Engineering Expert as part of the Corrosion and Civil Engineering team within the Asset Technology Center with the purpose to drive the Asset Integrity Vision for continuous improvement in reducing operational risks, increasing revenue and optimizing cost across all Manufacturing sites globally. Providing technical leadership on Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control, giving technical support and recommendations to sites/affiliates. Undertaking studies and analysis on Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control -related topics. Globally enhance technical competencies of engineers in the Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control areas of expertise to drive long term value creation. Achieving safe operation and optimum asset utilization across all global sites, through:

- Expertise deployment for solutions & improvements.
- Development and deployment of world class practices and functional expertise.
- Identifying improvement opportunities through internal and external networks.
- Networking & knowledge management and sharing.
- Support all sites/affiliates and functions with high-level technical expertise to achieve
- business goals.

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES

The following are the key accountabilities for which only this role is accountable, indicating the percentage (%) of time spent:
Technical Leadership:
Conduct studies and analysis related to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control, develop new and/or enhance the efficiency of protective/preventive measures for mitigation of related failures.

Identify, evaluate and develop relevant Manufacturing Standards (SMS) & Best Practices (BP) to improve the maintenance & reliability in equipment/components.

Ensure timely review for Engineering Standards (SES) related to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control.

Initiate new ideas and identify novel solutions relevant to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control.

Address Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control issues affecting asset reliability, and maintain knowledge of upcoming technological improvements.

Work with Regional Asset Support (RAS) team by conducting technical support & consultation on high impact MSRs (Level 3) to resolve chronic failures/issues related to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control at Manufacturing sites globally.

Support Manufacturing in technical audits/assessments/cold eye reviews and remaining life assessment initiatives.

Diagnostic investigation and troubleshooting for Metallurgy, Microstructure & Condition Assessment issues.

Provide expert knowledge on safety and reliability-related programs applicable to SHEMS and OMS.

Work with GPS to pre-qualify and re-qualify Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control contractors and materials manufacturers.

Evaluate new technologies and equipment related to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control.

Knowledge and Network Management:
1. Communicate critical business cases in the form of Technical Alerts (TA) and SMS to Global Manufacturing.

2. Participate in internal and external Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control technical exchange meetings, forums, conferences, and committees.

3. Manage the Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control Expert Group meetings and knowledge sharing.

4. Classification: General Business Use

5. Broad technical knowledge of Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control.

6. Communicate effectively and confidently to all levels within from Executive Level to Operator Level.

7. Deal with Affiliates on-site both locally in KSA and Globally.

8. Use influence to achieve objectives (management complexity).

9. Provides new ideas and leadership to sustain and improve reliability and availability of equipment through optimization of Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control of all affiliates.

10. Initiate innovative ideas with proven significant business impact and lower the cost of ownership.

11. Contributes to the evolution of new ideas with strategic and tactical impacts.

12. Contributes significantly to providing technical solutions for high-risk events pertaining to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control.

**Experience**:

- Holding a Bachelor Degree of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering. (Degree, training, or certification required)
- At least 15 years of engineering experience in Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control.
- Recognized technical/engineering expert on design, maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment in fields relevant to Corrosion Modeling, Simulation & Control in Petrochemical and Oil &
- Gas industries as demonstrated by significant accomplishments and contributions acquired over a period of 15 or more years.
- Knowledge and certification in relevant standards, best practices, and techniques.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of general principles and theories
