**Join a team to deliver first class service**

As a Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with mínimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing pre-job checks and basic onsite maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of equipment
- Operating and troubleshooting production machines to ensure reliability, safety and delivery
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly prints and parts lists, and following procedures and maintenance practices
- Using measurement and gauging equipment and processes to solder and assemble mechanical devices
- Following internal HSE policies to ensure safety and compliance.
- Following and maintaining assembly records and communications to ensure compliance and regulations are followed

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Diploma or equivalent in a mechanical related discipline
- Have 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
- Have previously worked in the petrochemical industry for 2+ years
- Have understanding of field equipment
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Have ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills
