**Summary of the Role**:
The Female Cashier at Makkah Hypermarket will serve as a primary point of contact for customer transactions, ensuring that every purchase is processed with accuracy and efficiency. The role involves handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and other forms of payment, maintaining a friendly demeanor, and providing exceptional customer service. Success in this position is defined by accurate cash handling, quick and friendly service, and the ability to resolve customer issues with a positive attitude. This role is a critical component of the hypermarket's operations, directly affecting the customer experience and contributing to the store's reputation for service excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance as needed.
- Manage cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
- Assist in pricing, stocking, and other tasks as needed.
- Handle returns and exchanges with a customer-first mindset.
- Follow all store policies and procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol or cigarettes.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a high level of customer service throughout the hypermarket.
- Report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to the supervisor immediately.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with POS systems and other cash register software.
- Proficiency in Arabic and, ideally, basic proficiency in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
