The technician repairs and maintains the Instrumentation equipment like Control valves, Actuators, Smart transmitters, pneumatic cylinders, pH/Conductivity analysers, CEMS system, weighing system, packaging units and its accessories by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Follow safety policy and procedures before, during and after execution of the jobs (Risk Assessment, Work Permit, LOTO, etc ).
- Troubleshoot through necessary diagnostic, measurements and analysis by disassembling / reassembly test of equipment and determine steps of repair.
- Process Oriented analysis to be taken care in the troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and repair all kinds of Control valves, Actuators, Smart transmitters, pneumatic cylinders and all other instruments related equipment’s, etc.
- Use all types of Calibrating instruments such as HART, Test pumps and other Inspection tools.
- Keeping the work area neat and orderly, maintaining the work floor free of slip and trip hazards, and removing of waste materials.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance as per the maintenance orders issued by planning team, closure of maintenance order after completion of job, then test runs for acceptance.
- Prepare daily work report and submit to Team Leader.
- Sharing of knowledge and train the subordinate if/as required.
- Good communication skills in English speaking, reading and writing.
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.

Requirement
3 years industrial maintenance experience required, preferably within a heavy industry
