Parsons is looking for a talented District Cooling Expert to join our team In this role you will get to work as the District cooling and Gas systems expert within the team.

Main Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

- Proficiency in reading and understanding master plans,
- Proficiency in reading and understanding the land uses, GFA, type of buildings.
- Proficiency in dealing with Local codes such as SEC, SBC, MOMRAH, NWC, etc.
- Proficiency in preparation of feasibility studies concerning comparisons between District cooling plant and networks options vs either conventional standalone chilled water systems or DX systems.
- Proficiency in the design of district cooling plants from concept stage all the way to detailed design stage. This includes the preparation of DCP equipment layouts, equipment selections including chillers, pumps, TES, cooling towers ,etc. This includes also the preparation of performance specifications and tender packages including the drawings, specs, BOQ, and the cooling load calculations. Ability to study and specify the phasing of the DCP capacities as per the project construction phasing is essential.
- Proficiency in the design of the chilled water networks serving the district cooling plants. This includes the Civil 3D drawings preparation with all the required valves chambers, hydraulic calculations, expansion joints, AAVs, profiles. etc.
- Proficiency in the preparation of design basis reports, calculations, and presentations
- Proficiency in the design of gas farms and gas distribution networks.
- Ability to prepare feasibility studies for use of gas networks in new development areas. Proficiency in utilizing CAD, Civil 3D and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

Skills and Competencies
- Good command with English language to properly deal with documents preparation, meetings, and presentations.
- Expert knowledge with national and international codes (SBC, SEC, ASHRAE, NWC, NFPA

Education and Typical Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 12+ years related work experience
