- Responsible for Aviation On the Job Training (OJT) for the Integrated Maintenance Support Services (IMSS) Aviation Maintenance Division supporting the aviation battalion and Vinnell Arabia (VA) employees.. Develops training plans, curriculum, training aids use, training publications and courseware under the direction of the Aviation Maintenance Division Training Supervisor. Directs mechanic trainers and trainer interpreters in the use and standardization of training management systems. Plans and executes training and evaluation of customer maintainers in accordance with the customer requirements and US Army Aviation Training Manuals. Conduct academic and hands-on performance training and administer evaluations to ensure maintainers proficiency and standardization of training. Responsible for maintaining Individual Job Books, Automated Maintainer Training Files (TMS). Directly responsible for all aspects of training record keeping requirements and training reports for the battalion and contractor personnel.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

**A.** Independence: Reports to the IMSS Training Management Office (TMO) Supervisor. Team member in a critical line of effort to develop, conduct, and manage a training program IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Division management guidance. Performs within broad guidelines, duties and responsibilities and in concert with the Production Control (PC) Manager, PC Supervisor, and Mechanic Section Lead to facilitate training & readiness.**B.** Supervisory Responsibilities: As directed by the first line supervisor or higher.**C.** Duties/responsibilities:
1. Lead the assigned Battalion OJT efforts, and manages the assigned Training Management System (TMS).

2. In coordination with the MNG Battalion and Company Commander, develop, coordinate and synchronize the annual OJT plan. Coordinate and nest with the Brigade annual master training plan.

3. Coordinate and work in concert with the VA Divisions and IMSS Sections.

4. Quarterly, validation of Schedule classes for MNG Soldiers and VA Employees.

5. Track, document, and report, individual training, certification progress of MNG Soldiers and VA employees.

6. Track, document, and report, MNG Soldier and IMSS training progress and qualifications.

7. Provide consolidated, validated, accurate and timely status reports to MNG and VA.

8. Conduct Quarterly Battalion Training program audits. Recommend changes to improve performance and efficiencies of all training programs;
9. Assists in the development and maintenance of VA IMSS Job Training Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

10. Assists all trainers and course managers in meeting their MNG and VA program training requirements.

11. Performs technical writing and editing when updating MNG Task Books, performance measures, evaluations and SOPs

12. Other tasks as directed by IMSS TMO Supervisor.

**Minimum Qualifications**

**A.** Education Level:
- 1. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.- 2. Preferred: Advanced degree or equivalent.**B.** Training Certifications:
1. Required: Graduate of a US Military Training or Instructor certification course or military Host Nation equivalent.

2. Preferred: Graduate of a US Military platform instructor course or military Host Nation equivalent.

3. Preferred: General Aviation Skill Training Instructor (GAST)

**C.** Experience:
1. Required: Minimum of four years’ experience in aviation maintenance operations and two-years instructing and training experience.

2. Required: Aviation Program of Instruction (POI) developer, writer, and on-the-job instructor experience for 20 and 30 skill levels

3. Preferred: Minimum of six years’ experience in aviation maintenance operations and four-years instructing and training experience.

**D.** Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
- 1. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.- 2. Proficient in MS Office software.- 3. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.- 4. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.- 5. Possess a valid issued driver’s license.- 6. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
