- S-21**Basic Functions**
- Responsible for assisting with the overall inventory management of the Class II/IX warehouse. Works with Logistics/Supply Chain Management related to equipment, facilities, parts ordering, reorder levels, and receipt tracking. Assist with shipping of repair and return items, monthly inventory reports, stock level tracking, forecast and optimization. Performs routine warehouse maintenance operations such as, shelf building, item relocation, data input, packing, unpacking, trash removal, inventory, stocking, and other actions as directed, in support of the Vinnell mission.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- A. Duties/Responsibilities:
- 1. Conducts warehouse operations in accordance with the appropriate Logistical Technical Manuals, regulations, and other published guidance.- 2. Ensures items are prepared by processing request and supply orders, pulling materials, counting, and placing in delivery queue.- 3. Responsible for compliance with established logistics systems, processes, and procedures.- 4. Conducts location maintenance by collecting information on stock, properly identifying items and correcting discrepancies related to their quantity, nomenclature, and part number.- 5. Assists in maintaining 100% accountability of all classes of supplies assigned to the warehouse.- 6. Performs inventory cycle counts, research of missing parts and discrepancy reports.- 7. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material.- 8. Works within the established quality control processes, procedures, and standards.- 9. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.- 10. Travel between multiple locations required.- B. Independence: Performs duties as directed within published guidance and regulations. Reports to warehouse manager and LSCM manager.**Minimum Qualifications**
- A. Education Level:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.- Preferred: Post-secondary degreeB. Experience:
- Required: Three (3) years of broad-based experience in the fields of supply, distribution, warehousing, or packaging required- Preferred: Experience in aviation logisticsC. Specific knowledge, skills, ability: must possess an understanding of the Logistics System specific to maintenance and repair. Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and written. Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Proficient in MS Office Professional software required (Word, Excel, Power Point). Proficiency in SharePoint highly desired. Demonstrated performance inventory management; stock, store, and issue; material handling, packaging, and transportation movement. Familiarity with commercial ERP systems.D. Possess a valid driver’s license.
