CCDS, an information technology and services company, is looking for a Kafka Administrator to join their team. As a Kafka Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of Kafka clusters. As a member of the CCDS team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and success of enterprise data management systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer and manage Kafka clusters, ensuring their high performance, reliability, and availability
- Monitor logs, metrics, and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal cluster health
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Kafka with other enterprise systems
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure business continuity
- Keep up-to-date with emerging Kafka technologies, contributing to the company's innovation and growth
- Participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of Kafka upgrades and patches

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in Kafka administration and management
- Strong expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy, Replicator. Both Confluent and Apache Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka principles and architecture
- Proficiency in Kafka administration tools, such as Confluent Control Center and Kafka Manager
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka, AWS MSK, Linux/Unix systems.
- Solid knowledge of monitoring tools and fine-tuning alerts on Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and networking concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working well with cross-functional teams.
