JOB PURPOSE:
Lead and manage safely the activities of the Mechanical Maintenance. Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment and facilities. Improve plant reliability and availability. Coordinate with related departments to implement Sustainability & Reliability systems (RIS, RCA, RBI, RCM, etc...). Ensuring full EHSS compliance

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure implementation and compliance of the PK Safety, Health and Environment standards (SHEM’S)/ operation management system (OMS) in his area of responsibility.
- Identify and evaluate potential/existing EHSS risks, conduct and participate in providing solutions and suitable corrective control measures.
- Lead and manage the daily activities of the Mechanical, Instrument and Electrical Maintenance in his area of responsibility.
- Direct the activities of all his subordinates and ensure effective implementation of preventive maintenance program.
- Ensure plant availability by controlling the maintenance breakdown delays to achieve the production target as per the plan.
- Exhibits proven abilities to rationalize and solve critical problem emerging during course of work
- Coordination with internal and external agencies which contribute the functioning of day to day activities and turnaround jobs.
- Prepare annual budget for the maintenance section (spares, projects, fixed cost, manpower, and services) and ensure effective control of the budget assigned.
- Prioritize budget proposals for projects and capital spares considering the obsolescence, replacement, update of technology.
- Ensure effective training program is implemented to improve the skills of employees with his area of responsibility.
- Monitor the effectiveness and improvement of skills.

Continually monitor and improve key maintenance performance indicators in order to reduce maintenance costs & utilize best maintenance practices

Job Requirements:

- BS Engineering degree
- with relevant experience in maintenance of 5 years.
- Diploma degree - with relevant experience in maintenance of 8 years.
- High school -with relevant experience in maintenance of 13 years.
- Leadership & Communication Skills.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills.
- Analytical thinking skills & capable of taking independent decisions.
