Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

- Maintain the progress of automation & environment system jobs assigned by the senior.
- Assign the jobs to technicians & be involved by leading them.
- Monitoring the daily notifications & orders of Plant instrumentation system and acting upon the same.
- Hands on calibration and loop checking experience like pressure transmitter, tanks level transmitter (radar & hydrostatic), vibration sensor, I/P, frequency base speed control relay, positioner, and level switches.
- knowledge of making terminations, glanding, cable pulling, and dressing; a good understanding of reading and understanding P&ID and instrument drawings and the ability to ensure safe use of tools.
- inspecting meters, indicators, and gauges, to detect abnormal fluctuations, testing accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators.
- Hands on testing experience of RTD and thermocouple sensor with testing bath and plant pneumatic Equipment’s.
- Guide the technicians in carrying out the jobs and using the right tools & materials for the right jobs.
- Keep informed the senior of the bottlenecks of automation system and the suggest ideas for improvement.
- Coordinate with the supervisor for any short fall of automation & environment system materials.
- Obtain permit from operation & safety before starting any job.
- Ensure the knowledge and experience of industrial safety standard procedure up to the ISO standard.
- Training the technicians & improving their skills.
- Properly store & upkeep the testing equipment and tools.
