Urban Planner

Job Title: Urban Planner **Years of Experience (YOE)**: 10+**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.

**Required Experience**:

- Research or studies related to architectural identity, preferably focused on Saudi Arabia or neighboring countries.
- Proven experience in preparing urban planning requirements or codes, particularly in cultural or identity-related contexts.
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations and planning processes.
- **Urban Planning Development**:

- Develop comprehensive urban plans that honor and integrate the architectural identity and cultural heritage of the region.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that urban designs are practical, sustainable, and culturally relevant.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Conduct studies and planning sessions with stakeholders, including government entities, community groups, and private sector partners.
- Facilitate workshops and public consultations to gather input and feedback on urban design proposals.
- **Research and Analysis**:

- Perform detailed research on architectural identity, assessing local context and historical influences that shape urban environments.
- Analyze demographic and socioeconomic data to inform planning decisions and ensure inclusivity in urban development.
- **Design and Documentation**:

- Prepare high-quality design documents, including site plans, visual presentations, and urban codes that reflect best practices in urban design.
- Utilize graphic software and tools to create compelling visual representations of urban plans.
- **Policy Development**:

- Contribute to the development of urban planning policies and guidelines that promote cultural preservation and enhance community identity.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of urban plans, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
