Role description:
To develop and manage project master programmes across multiple projects. Monitor pre and post contract activities and identify areas of programme risk sufficiently in advance before becoming an issue.

Role accountabilities:

- Develops and manages the master programme for the project.
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting of all programme-related activities.
- Detailed reviews of contractor programmes.
- Monitoring the planning and project controls works for conformance with project procedures.
- Develops and monitors the permitting and authority approvals process for the project.
- Prepares baseline and current schedule programmes.
- Prepares monthly report and recovery plans where applicable.
- Preparing and finalizing weekly progress report submissions and weekly quantity reports.
- Provide the Project Manager with weekly progress updates, forecast completions, together with critical path and trend analyses.
- Consistent assessment of the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and ‘what if’ scenarios to aid project management decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Engineer and Contractor in resolving any and all project schedule issues.
- Reviewing and analyzing contractors’ claims and preparing recommendations reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or relavant
- At least 10 years experience within the planning division of an international consultancy
- Previous experience working on large scale building and hotel developments
- Expert in using planning software such as Primavera, etc
- Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
- A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
- Primavera certification and working experience
