We are looking for an experienced Information Architecture Specialist to support the Data & Information Architecture department in the development and evolution of the data architecture practice. Implement data architecture framework and provide directions to projects from data architecture and data modelling perspective.

Deliver conceptual and logical models for source data systems and ED W/ODR. Develop and model enterprise-level services and their related reference architectures.

Lead and facilitate the creation of BDM technology roadmaps and strategies while involving all key stakeholders. Contribute to the creation of BDM technology roadmaps and strategies

**Responsibilities**:
**Policies, Processes & Procedures**
- Participate in Developing, recommending & implementation of the data architecture frameworks / guidelines, processes, procedures & controls for data warehouse, operational data repository & Bl data marts.

**Day-to-day Operations**
- Perform the day-to-day and ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

**Information Architecture**
- Create, and maintain documentation of standards and best practices.
- Analyze business requirements and develop detailed architecture design for the changes/enhancements needed in the EDW and data mart environments.
- Implement technical solutions to leverage homogenous/ heterogeneous technologies, architectures, integrated solutions and offerings for solving the organization’s business challenges.
- Develop logical and physical data models necessary to support business, intelligence reporting initiatives.
- Design and develop both relational and dimensional data models.
- Develop and document detailed architecture framework/information that outlines the structure, content, metadata, planned changes/enhancements, known data quality problems, master data definitions tables and all relevant technical information about the current EDW and data mart environment in finance document.
- Work with the analytical team to design and maintain analytical and data mining marts.
- Direct the resolution of specific tactical data architecture issues as they surface with a focus on the proactive identification of issues and their resolution to minimize negative impacts to the business
- Develop reference data architecture and Perform ongoing technical assessment of the existing data environments

**Transfer of Knowledge and Communication**
- Work closely with all BIM team members to provide assistance, and identify any EDW or data mart design problems that should be addressed.
- Work closely with the data stewardship and quality manager to coordinate effort and ensure the development and compliance with master data and data quality requirements measures are implemented.

- Assesses the impact of introduced changes to people, process and systems and develops relevant communication and awareness initiatives to support the effective implementation of change

**Continuous Improvement**
- Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

**Reporting**
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards

**Related Assignments**
- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems or Computer Science with preferably a Master’s degree in MIS
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Data & Information Management in banking
- 4-6 years experience in management in general
- 4-6 years experience in an Architect role in particular
- English: Advanced

**Technical knowledge areas**:

- Understanding of the bank’s strategy, objectives
- Ability to effectively present information to top management
- In-depth knowledge of EDW architectural frameworks / EDW conceptual, logical data models for financial / industry.
- Integration, data migration, ETL, Business intelligence, data analytics, storage, etc
- Architects that have an understanding of integration, data management technologies, data/warehousing technologies, and database technologies
- In-depth knowledge of the bank’s regulations
