Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase Administrator with expertise in Oracle database administration to join our team. As a Geodatabase Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our geodatabase infrastructure. You will work closely with GIS analysts, developers, and database administrators to ensure the stability and reliability of the geodatabase environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain geodatabase infrastructure for enterprise GIS systems using ESRI ArcGIS software.
- Perform Oracle database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop, test, and deploy geodatabase schema and data models.
- Manage database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Analyze geodatabase performance and recommend improvements to optimize system efficiency.
- Participate in the development of geodatabase-related policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain documentation related to geodatabase infrastructure and operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, geography, GIS, or related field.
- 8+ years of database administration experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server database administration expertise.
- 3+ years of experience in managing ESRI geodatabases using ArcGIS software.
- Familiarity with geodatabase schema design and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of database administration concepts, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to monitor and optimize geodatabase performance.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database scripting.
- Experience with database security, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Preferred qualifications:

- ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase Administration certification.
- Oracle Database Administration certification.
- Experience with cloud-based geodatabase solutions such as ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise on AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats, standards, and metadata.
