Corrossion Engineer

Eram Talent is seeking a proactive Corrosion Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing corrosion risk assessments, evaluating inspection data, and providing technical support to projects through designing and selecting corrosion control measures. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inspection and assessment of pipelines and corrosion protection systems
- Develop and implement corrosion management programs and procedures
- Identify and evaluate areas of corrosion risk and provide technical support to projects
- Assist in selecting and recommending corrosion-resistant materials and coatings
- Analyze data from previous inspections and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair
- Supervise and manage corrosion prevention and control activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Engineering, preferably in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering
- 15 Years of corrosion related experience
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in a corrosion engineering role in the oil and gas industry
- Familiarity with API-571 Damage Mechanisms
- Certified in API-580 Risk Based Inspection
- Experience in Aramco projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Any 3 certifications from the below list:

- API RP 571 - Damages Mechanisms
- NACE Internal Corrosion Technologist Certification
- NACE Basic Corrosion
- NACE CP Level II
- NACE CIP Level II
