Responsible for higher level activities in the assigned Section: Radiopharmaceuticals Productions, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, or Research & Development Section.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Performs at least one of the following groups of duties as the primary work function: radiochemistry operations in hot cells area, radiopharmaceuticals manufacturing in production area, testing products in Quality Control / Quality Assurance (QC/QA) area, or Research & Development (R&D) area.

2. Complies and promotes with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines for radiopharmaceuticals handling or quality parameters, or the applicable methodologies.

3. Applies knowledge in routine activities and takes responsibility for good and proper conduct of the assigned duties. Engages in troubleshooting and improvements.

4. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments calibration, validation and maintenance. Keeps accurate records and logs.

5. Reviews, prepares and updates operating procedures and pertinent documents, suggests and implements improvements.

6. Directs supervision of assigned employees. Assists assigned supervisor in establishing and implementing training and continuing educational activities.

7. Performs administrative functions such as ordering and maintaining supplies, establishing production standards and recommending equipment.

8. Reviews scientific literature and regulatory documents (e.g., GMP, ISO); applies new knowledge in developing new methodology for continuous improvements.

9. Prepares periodic reports, writes manuscripts, or provides a critical feedback to assist assigned supervisor in achieving the objectives.

10. Understands and adheres to the radiation protection regulations, ensures compliance with highest level ofradiation safety according to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principle of radiation protection.

**Education**:
PhD, Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Nuclear Medicine Technology or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Four (4) years of related experience with PhD, six (6) years with Master’s, or eight (8) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required
