As the Director of Equity Capital Markets, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing equity capital market transactions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise equity capital, advising clients on market conditions, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage equity capital market transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings, and private placements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, investment banks, and other market participants to facilitate capital raising activities.
- Advise clients on optimal capital structures, pricing strategies, and market positioning to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment banking, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution of transactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence to assess the feasibility and attractiveness of potential transactions.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights and guidance to clients.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm's equity capital markets capabilities and client base.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and success.

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in equity capital markets, investment banking, or related financial services roles.
- Proven track record of successfully executing equity capital market transactions across various industries and geographies.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and capital markets dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate findings effectively.
