**Position Title**:Road Inspector

**Work Location/Term**: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time
**Supervision**: Site Inspections, Quality Control, Compliance Monitoring
**Reports to**: Road Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Site Inspections**: Ensure compliance with designs, specifications, and safety standards for road construction activities.
- ** Quality Control**: Monitor materials and workmanship to meet project and international standards, reporting non-conformities.
- ** Material & Equipment Verification**: Ensure materials (asphalt, aggregates) and equipment are in line with specifications.
- ** Testing & Sampling**: Oversee tests (compaction, asphalt, concrete) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain inspection reports and track progress, ensuring compliance.
- ** Coordination with Contractors**: Resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- ** Safety Monitoring**: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and report unsafe practices.
- ** Compliance Monitoring**: Ensure adherence to local regulations and environmental standards.

**Competencies**:

- Knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and design drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
- Effective communication with contractors and project stakeholders.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Diploma with 7 years of experience.
- ** Experience**: 3-7 years in road construction inspections or quality control.
- ** Certifications**: Certification in quality assurance/inspection preferred. SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) registration.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in English required, Arabic preferred.
- ** Skills**: Familiarity with testing equipment, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of safety standards.
