**Job Title**:Consultant Ophthalmology**

**Educ**a**tion and Licen**s**ure**:

- Medical Degree (MBBS) from a recognized medical school.
- Postgraduate degree/Fellowship Certification t.c. Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications.
- Current valid medical license as consultant in Ophthalmology or its equivalent to practice his specialty by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties.
- Current valid certification of Basic Life Support or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment.

**Professional Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the practice of his/her specialty after obtaining his high medical degree.

**Speciali**z**ed Knowl**e**d**g**e & skills**:

- Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in Arabic would be of advantage.
- Good general health, able to work extended hours under stress, isolation and at high altitudes, mobility, near visual acuity and no uncorrected audiological problems.
- Teaching: To demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, professions.
- Research: To demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research relating to the specialty.
