About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Dairy Lead to join our team at Giant Eagle.

As a Dairy Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to Team Members, ordering perishable and non-perishable products, and implementing merchandising initiatives.

You will work closely with our Grocery Manager to supervise all Team Members in the dairy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining a Safe and Clean Environment: You will ensure health and OSHA requirements are met at all times.
  2. Developing and Implementing Merchandising Plans: You will develop and implement plans to meet financial objectives, using guidelines and suggestions provided.
  3. Controlling Department Costs: By monitoring and improving operations, you will help control labor costs and ensure efficiency.
  4. Directing and Overseeing Training: You will direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided by a trainer to reduce turnover and promote efficiency.
  5. Analyzing Customer Satisfaction Index: You will analyze customer satisfaction index and identify areas needing improvement.
  6. Maintaining Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate records to ensure documentation of activities is available.
