About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microbiologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analysis with an acceptable degree of accuracy and quality in conformance with established methods, instructions, and quality standards under the supervision of the Assistant Laboratory Manager/senior staff.

You will be responsible for maintaining environmental controls (i.e. moisture, temperature, sterility etc.) in the laboratory in line with international standards and company procedures.

Your primary functions will include recording test results, supporting the production of test reports describing procedures/methodology used and presenting results in an appropriate/required manner.

You will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing laboratory equipment, assisting with the calibration of laboratory instruments in line with appropriate standards and internal procedures.

Furthermore, you will follow laboratory requirements and procedures to ensure test/analytical results are available for issue in the agreed target times.

You will participate actively in the PTP programs and follow up on SQC's completion to comply with internal laboratory quality systems.

Additionally, you will assist the Laboratory Manager/senior staff to enhance capability levels in the laboratory through on-job training of junior staff.
