Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Senior Construction Manager to join our construction team working on our projects in various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all delivery aspects of the project scope, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and effective controls and procedures are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of construction activities.
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all construction activities are performed in accordance with approved quality and safety procedures, and that all necessary controls and procedures are in place.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to deliver exceptional results.
- Communication and Reporting: Develop and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring that all project information is accurate, complete, and timely.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of overall work experience on large EPC projects, working for a Tier 1 contractor.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in geotechnical construction, including diaphragm walls, bored piles, and ground investigations. Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Geotechnical Specialized Subcontractor Experience: Experience working with geotechnical specialized subcontractors.
- International Project Experience: Experience working on international projects, particularly in the Middle East region.
