Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auditor Professional to join our team at Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing post clearance audits of traders' records, examining the validity of documents presented, and ensuring compliance with customs laws and procedures.

  • Conduct thorough examinations of traders' commercial systems and processes, financial and non-financial records, physical stock, and other assets.
  • Develop and update assessment templates and audit tools in accordance with operational procedures and policies.
  • Consolidate, categorize, and prioritize post clearance audit schedules, sort by industry type, and dispatch to relevant audit teams for assessment and review.
  • Gather necessary data to perform desk audits activities and communicate with relevant stakeholders to obtain clarifications.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification, as well as 1 year of relevant experience.
