About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership position in greenhouse management. As a Greenhouse Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of greenhouse facilities and systems, ensuring maximum production delivery while minimizing downtime.

You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, managing crop production, and implementing improvement plans to enhance site effectiveness and improve Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cultivation schedules and growing strategies to maximize yields.
  • Perform routine checks and repairs to minimize equipment issues.
  • Train staff on operational procedures and ensure they are equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve production problems to minimize losses.
  • Install new parts and ensure greenhouse systems operate correctly.
  • Conduct quality inspections on maintenance jobs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals.
  • Manage maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels is essential.
  • Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing.
