EHS Project Manager - Sustainability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Project Manager to join our team in Jeddah. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel by maintaining and enhancing our environmental, occupational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Implement EHS Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of EHS strategies and initiatives to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Investigate Incidents and Non-Conformities: Investigate incidents and non-conformities, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  4. Monitor EHS Performance Metrics: Monitor EHS performance metrics and report on progress to senior management.
  5. Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement in EHS practices across the organization.
  6. Provide EHS Training and Guidance: Provide EHS training and guidance to employees and management to ensure a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  7. Develop and Enforce EHS Policies: Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Engage with External Stakeholders: Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and auditors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Stay Abreast of New Legislation: Stay abreast of new legislation and best practices in EHS to ensure the organization remains compliant and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Experience or understanding of EHS regulations and compliance within a project management context.
  3. Skills: Familiarity with EHS management systems and auditing processes, knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation procedures, proven leadership and team management abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and resilience to overcome challenges and drive EHS performance.
