About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Content Manager to join our team at NEOM. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for managing and refining both internal and external communications with a strong focus on Arabic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign and edit a wide range of content, ensuring alignment with NEOM's house style and messaging.
- Manage the translation agency for Arabic content and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Content includes press materials, website stories, internal reports, presentation decks, and social media posts.
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for various mediums including digital media, websites, EDMs, socials, wholesale marketing, and packaging.
- Contribute to developing creative concepts for marketing initiatives in response to marketing briefs.
- Develop and execute copy for brand and product campaigns including creative & aspirational taglines.
- Manage the Arabic team in Corporate Marketing.
- Edit and proofread copy as needed.
- Manage copy proofs, feedback, and changes.
- Provide approvals on Arabic content.
- Be aware of and understand strategies and objectives from different departments to inform creative copy outputs.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of NEOM's strategic communication objectives and goals by providing innovative communications content.
- Develop, implement, and update content operational plans and oversee their implementation.
- Collaborate with relevant NEOM staff members, stakeholders, and leaders to identify required projects and initiatives that support NEOM's strategic communications vision.
- Provide strategic advice and direction.
- Create and assign monthly tasks.
- Manage day-to-day project communications and stand-ups.
- Ensure quality assurance of all creative implementations and campaign changes.
- Track best practices to report accurately.
- Report on budgets spent and targets for channels worked on.
- Work closely with the Analytics team to create reporting dashboards.
- Identify and manage risk in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Comply with NEOM policies and procedures including completing mandatory training.
- Model positive risk behaviors and contribute to a strong risk culture at NEOM.
Requirements:
- Proven experience, 6+ years in content writing and management.
- Experience in both copywriting and journalism preferred.
- Strong grammar and punctuation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Hands-on experience managing agencies.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in content writing and management.
- Experience on both Agency and Client sides is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
