Transguard Group, a leading business support and outsourcing provider, is seeking a highly skilled Branch Planner - Saudization Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct quality checks on material planning master data, including lead time and ETA, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Issue distribution orders in a timely manner to meet branch demand, while maintaining a balance between supply and demand.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve backorders and update ETA in the system, ensuring minimal disruptions to the supply chain.
  4. Participate in allocation calls and emails with Sales, Sourcing Manager, and other stakeholders to understand the nature and impact of constraints.
  5. Support the Warehouse team in their requests for warehouse space, ensuring optimal storage and inventory management.
  6. Work with suppliers to reduce lead time and order quantities, balancing supply with demand and minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  7. Collaborate with Supply Chain Planners across the organization to reposition excess inventory to locations with supporting demand, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal waste.
  8. Provide accurate and timely updates on inventory availability and backorder recovery plans, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  9. Manage part change requests and ramp up/ramp down activities to meet demand, while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  10. Reconcile order boards for critical suppliers, critical parts, and past due orders on a routine basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  11. Support the Deliver Supplier Improvement Process initiative to improve performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  12. Document, communicate, and follow up on action items impacting the ability to execute the plan, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
  13. Take ownership and accountability for delivery that supports end Customer needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  14. Demonstrate the target level of proficiency in core competencies, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  15. Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet business goals, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness.

Requirements:

  1. University or equivalent degree in a related field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or logistics.
  2. Either fresh with knowledge about material requirement planning, data analysis, or 2-3 years of work experience in a related field.
  3. Skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in an equivalent field, such as materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control.
  4. MS Excel experience, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
