**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at the National Blood and Cancer Center.

As a Radiology Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Carry out a full range of clinical duties as assigned by the Director of Radiodiagnostics & Medical Imaging, ensuring adherence to individually approved clinical privileges.
  • Maintain high standards of diagnostic examinations and implement radiation protection procedures.
  • Consult with medical staff on radiological investigations, determining whether requested examinations are appropriate or necessary.
  • Rotate through imaging sub-specialties as required, demonstrating sufficient breadth of training to undertake rotations.
  • Attend departmental meetings and participate in on-call duties as needed.
  • Teach staff assigned for training purposes and contribute to planning career development programs for trainees.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives (Total Quality Management Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme) and fulfill requirements for continuing medical education.
  • Assist in forward planning and departmental development, deputizing for superiors as required and sharing workload during colleague absences.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Self-motivated individual with awareness of current trends in medical imaging.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • No less than 5 years experience in reporting PET-CT images.
