As a Procurement Manager Saudi Arabia at GlaxoSmithKline, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the best value for the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management, with a solid understanding of compliance and cost control practices.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Build strong partnerships with different stakeholders across KSA LOC.
  2. Represent procurement in the different senior local forums (LT, RMCB, etc.).
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal and Compliance to align procurement with business needs.
  4. Act as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders, ensuring Procurement Strategies support their goals and operational needs.
  5. Serve as the primary Procurement point of contact for business leaders, offering guidance and support on Procurement-related topics.
  6. Provide strategic advice on market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk mitigation to inform business decisions.
Suppliers & Contracts Management
  1. Manage sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to secure the best value while ensuring quality and compliance.
  2. Manage supplier risks and develop business continuity plans when required.
  3. Develop supplier strategy for KSA LOC.
  4. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
  5. Establish strong strategic relationships with vendors for long-term partnerships.
  6. Monitor contract lifecycle, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, or termination if needed.
  7. Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier innovations to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
Procurement Operations
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with GSK objectives & vision.
  2. Manage the end-to-end procurement process.
  3. Monitor and maintain different procurement systems.
  4. Drive cost reduction and value creation through strategic sourcing projects.
  5. Oversee procurement activities across indirect categories.
  6. Develop yearly procurement plans & targets for Saudi.
  7. Monitor and manage budgets, procurement KPIs, and cost-saving initiatives & targets.
  8. Support audits by ensuring proper documentation.
