We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Shovel Operator to join our team at AL ITTEFAQ STEEL PRODUCTS CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Wheel Loader/Shovel to remove and load slag into trucks, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

1. Slag Removal and Loading: Operate the Wheel Loader/Shovel to remove and load slag into trucks after processing cold slag with water in the hot slag dumping area.
2. Slag Handling: Handle slag as the sole responsibility of the Shovel Operator, following the shift Foreman's planning for daily shift jobs.
3. Slag Yard Maintenance: Push and level cold slag in the main slag yard/storage dumping area.
4. Ladle Maintenance: Manage and clean the ladle powder in the slag area that drains from the ladle after finishing the heat casting at the CCM area.
5. Used Bricks Management: Arrange and clean the ladle used bricks pit area, loading used bricks into trucks for further dumping in the used material area.
6. Equipment Inspection: Daily check and inspect equipment condition prior to operation, reporting any breakdowns to the shift Foreman or concerned authorities.
7. Safety Observation: Follow company site safety observation SOPs and safety rules while working in the plant.
8. HS&E Policies: Understand and follow organizational HS&E policies.
9. Safety Instructions: Follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
10. Incident Reporting: Report damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to concerned staff.
11. PPE Maintenance: Keep provided PPEs in good, workable condition.
12. Safety Culture: Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
13. Accident Reporting: Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible parties.
14. Safety Training: Attend safety training planned for them.
15. Right to Refuse: Have the right to say 'NO' to any unsafe work.
16. Slag Pot Maintenance: Fill sand in the slag pot to a measured level as a safety precaution.
17. Support and Assistance: Support/help with other jobs/departments, such as earth leveling, civil work, or emergency situations requiring a wheel loader.
18. Sand Storage: Arrangement and storage of sand for slag pots.
