About the Position

The Transportation and Rig Move Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all transportation and rig move operations at Leha Transportation Company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and Execute Operations: Develop and implement comprehensive plans, considering factors such as equipment specifications, route surveys, weather conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead and Manage Teams: Lead, mentor, and train a team of transportation specialists, rig movers, and support personnel, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill sets to meet operational demands.
  3. Maintain Safety and Compliance: Develop and enforce safety procedures and protocols for all transportation and rig move operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  4. Coordinate Logistics: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials, manage transportation and logistics contracts, and maintain accurate records of transportation and rig move activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in transportation and rig move operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy transport, rig moving techniques, and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
