The role of Strategic Financial Leader is a critical position within the finance team at Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic, responsible for leading the implementation of accounting policies, programs, and systems that align with the company's business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and direct the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective management of the company's financial assets.
  • Partner with the operations team to assess potential investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide financial modeling support for decision-making purposes.
  • Analyze and evaluate financial indicators, such as revenue, liabilities, credit conditions, and cash flow forecasts, to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to finalize accounts, address audit findings, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including department heads, directors, and executives, to promote transparency and collaboration in financial matters.
  • Evaluate the performance of the finance team, identify areas for improvement, and recommend training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive internal control systems to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.
  • Mentor and develop finance associates, providing guidance on career progression and succession planning.
  • Oversee the preparation of employee incentive schemes and regularly review their effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Certified public accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 9 years of post-qualification experience in finance, preferably with a big four audit firm and manufacturing industry background.
  • Proven track record of implementing financial policies, managing budgets, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic language proficiency preferred.
