About the Career Development Coach Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Career Development Coach to join our team at Maximus Gulf. As a Career Development Coach, you will play a critical role in empowering beneficiaries to achieve their career goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching to beneficiaries, helping them to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and career goals, and develop personalized action plans to achieve their objectives.
  • Training: Deliver training programs that focus on career development, job readiness, and employability skills, using a variety of teaching methods and techniques.
  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, and other stakeholders to create opportunities for beneficiaries, and facilitate connections between them.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of coaching and training activities, including progress, outcomes, and feedback, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.

Requirements

To succeed as a Career Development Coach, you will require:

Knowledge:

  • A bachelor's degree in counseling, coaching, human resources, or a related field.
  • Certification in coaching, mentoring, or a related field.
  • High computer literacy, with expertise in MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Photoshop.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or career development, with a track record of successful client outcomes.
  • Expertise in career development theories and models, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including youth, adults, and seniors, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • A strong background in building and maintaining relationships with employers, recruiters, and other stakeholders, with excellent networking and communication skills.
