Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of traffic engineering, transport planning and traffic modelling. You should also have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or equivalent.
  • MSc and/or chartered status.
  • Minimum 10+ years related professional work experience after university graduation.
  • Candidates based in KSA will be preferred.
  • Arabic language proficiency is advantageous.
  • Experience with industry-standard transportation modelling software such as VISUM/VISSIM & SATURN.
  • Hands-on experience in junction/capacity analysis software such as SIDRA & SYNCHRO or similar.
  • Experience in delivering transportation projects within a multi-disciplinary technical environment.
  • Competency in a range of transportation planning skills including development planning principles, access control, functional planning, public transport issues, temporary traffic management, pedestrian and non-motorised transportation issues, and transport demand theory.
