Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at FNRCO. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.

About the Role
  • The Procurement Specialist will lead negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Develop strategies to minimize costs without compromising on quality, efficiency, or delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure proper management and tracking of inventory levels.
  • Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet organizational needs for materials, supplies, and services.
  2. Lead contract management reviews via regular cadence, setting, analyzing, and monitoring KPIs.
  3. Facilitate and own record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
  4. Maintain high standards of quality in procurement practices, ensuring attention to detail and effective risk management.
  5. Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and provide input on suppliers/vendors payment processing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in CIPS, CPIM preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of managing purchasing activities and vendor relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
