Job Overview

The Senior O&M Systems Infrastructure Engineer position at Giza Systems KSA involves providing exceptional technical expertise in network security, system administration, and customer support.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Network Security: Implement and maintain robust network security measures to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Customer Support: Deliver high-quality remote and on-site support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor large computer networks for problems, working closely with site technicians to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Incident Response: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings for future reference and improvement.
  • LAN, WAN, and Server Architecture: Maintain LAN, WAN, and server infrastructure in accordance with business policies.
  • Security Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve existing security issues, including hardware malfunctions and track vulnerable scripts to prevent potential threats.
  • Virtual Private Network, Firewall, and Web Protocols: Design and implement virtual private networks, firewalls, and web protocols to ensure secure communication.
  • Security Breach Investigations: Conduct detailed investigations of security breach alerts, reporting findings of security analysis.
  • Web Security Gateways and Perimeter Security: Monitor web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, and endpoint security to maintain a secure environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively interact with third-party vendors, customer contacts, and other IT teams to achieve common goals.
  • Hardware Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain routers and switches, generating status reports of hardware and software products as per designated policy.
  • Progress Reports: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Network Team Leader, detailing the current status and progress of assigned tasks.
  • Escalation of Complex Issues: Escalate customer satisfaction problems and complex issues to the Network Team Leader or Technical Project Services if necessary.
  • Network Planning and Design: Oversee the planning, design, implementation, organization, and operation of the company's data communications network.
  • Network Prioritization: Analyze departmental needs and establish priorities for network design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company's networks and security.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare, compile, and review project technical documentation with details of installation work, submitting it to the team leader.
