As a Transmission Line Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to the growth and development of our nation's infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of aerial telecommunications cable.

Responsibilities and Requirements
• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
• Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
• Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers
• Flag traffic when required
• Understand separation and clearance regulations
• Safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
• Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Have a valid standard Driver's License with Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Have previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry
• Have knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Be able to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet
• Be able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction
• Be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Be able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call
• Be able to maintain a safe work environment
• Be able to work in all weather conditions
• Be able to travel when travel is required
• May have experience splicing of active & passive equipment
