Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on QIC procurement processes and best practices to stakeholders.

  • Regularly update and review the department's procurement plan based on evolving priorities and business needs.
  • Manage sourcing strategies to procure quality and cost-effective services, materials, and projects in support of Qiddiya's business objectives.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimize materials/services, minimize risks, and ensure adoption of approved contracts' terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and execute procurement documentation in collaboration with department stakeholders.
  • Ensure contract templates are developed and updated in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Support change order requests through review and amendment of contracts as needed.
  • Manage achievement of departmental objectives by setting individual objectives, managing performance, and adhering to procurement programme timelines.
  • Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate, and challenge teams and other stakeholders.
  • Work proactively within a fast-paced and continuously evolving department with a deadline-driven focus.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement management or a related role is necessary. A proven track record of successful procurement strategies and cost savings is essential.
