We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Helmerich & Payne. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ordering new items as needed, and ensuring that purchased orders are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Inventory Management: Procure goods locally with accuracy, optimum delivery, and pricing, ensuring best conditions for the company.
- Purchase Order Management: Generate purchase orders using the company procurement system.
- Warehouse Coordination: Work with warehouse personnel to ensure best practices between international and local purchases.
- Trade Agreement Establishment: Advise and aid in the establishment of local trade agreements.
- Vendor Performance Audit: Audit performance of local vendors and agreements.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Communicate with rigs to supply parts accurately and timely.
- Reporting: Provide required reports to all internal clients.
- Payment Terms: Establish payment terms with local suppliers.
- Contract Management: Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to suppliers through the RFQ process.
- Purchasing Instructions: Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Proficient PC Skills: Must have proficient PC skills, Microsoft Office application required with an emphasis on Excel.

- Excellent English Language Skills
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) and at least 3 years of related experience.
