The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment, clinical research methods, and legislative controls. They should be able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with thought leaders, physicians, and other healthcare decision-makers.
This is a field-based position, requiring approximately 50% travel. You'll work closely with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to develop their scientific expertise through presentations and updates.
The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and at least 2 years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical environment. They should be able to learn new subject areas quickly and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Allergan as a subject matter expert in assigned therapy areas and territories
- Serve as a point of contact for external experts and HCPs within assigned geographic areas
- Develop and execute scientific interaction plans and cycle plans
- Foster strong medical and scientific presence in key academic centers
- Support internal teams through scientific update presentations
- Assist in initiating, overseeing, and following up on GMA studies and medical projects
