Credit Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Supervisor to join our team at Dar Rayhaan by Rotana. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing the Credit Department and ensuring smooth operations.

1. Examine all credit demands originating from the hotel sales department for credit customers.
2. Supervise Accounts Receivable activities, including billings, payment postings, and internal follow-ups.
3. Follow up on collections of Accounts Receivable, taking necessary actions to secure timely payment and emphasize overdue amounts.
4. Assist the Credit Manager in updating the list of credit accounts to reservation and front office on a timely basis.
5. Ensure timely mailing of statements of accounts and follow-up letters.
6. Respond to guest, credit card queries, and account disputes, as well as third-party credit card issues.
7. Review guest ledger high balances and make necessary follow-ups with front office to secure additional credit information or obtain immediate settlement.

You should have a degree in hotel management or accounting and at least two years of previous experience within a hotel environment. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy are a must, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset.
