About the Role

This position involves working with Fire Assay procedures, which are used to analyze the chemical composition of materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these procedures and be able to perform them safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine analytical techniques related to establish Fire Assay procedures.
  • Be responsible for the quality and quantity of samples obtained during the complete analysis of Fire Assay samples.
  • Understand and follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain lead fusion equipment daily and submit a quality sample of silver beads to the Wet Chem Laboratory.
Working Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a laboratory setting, surrounded by advanced equipment and technology. They will be part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality services to our clients.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
  • Relevant work experience or lab experience through education would be an asset.
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
  • Candidates must demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
  • The incumbent must have time management skills and strong attention to detail.
