Job Description

JASARA PMC, a leading construction company, is seeking a skilled Construction Cost Manager to oversee the financial aspects of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling project costs, ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Contract Management: Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers, and manage and negotiate contracts to ensure that our company's interests are protected.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze project costs and expenses, and provide regular financial reports to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management, as well as proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and cost estimating software.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and negotiation abilities, and the ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
