The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Safety or NEBOSH Diploma and 3 years prior experience in EHS departments. Registration as a Health and Safety Officer and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with all relevant safety regulations and legislation.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards and policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards and recommend controls.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and the procedures for reporting incidents.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to develop and implement site-specific safety plans.
  • Monitor and report on site safety performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety or NEBOSH Diploma.
