Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Maintenance Manager to oversee vehicle maintenance and repair operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Vehicle Performance: Supervise periodic and corrective maintenance for vehicles, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead a Team of Technicians: Manage a team of technicians and mechanics, effectively distributing tasks, providing guidance, and promoting teamwork.
  • Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedules: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, taking into account the specific needs of our fleet.
  • Inspect and Assess Vehicle Performance: Inspect and assess vehicle performance, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Optimize Inventory Management: Monitor inventory of spare parts and necessary maintenance materials, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Evaluate Technical Compliance: Ensure compliance with technical regulations and occupational safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Analyze Operational Costs: Prepare regular reports on vehicle conditions and operational costs, providing insights for improvement.
  • Cultivate External Partnerships: Coordinate with suppliers and external maintenance centers when necessary, building strong relationships and negotiating favorable terms.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of automotive systems and principles. Minimum of [X] years of experience in auto maintenance, with managerial experience, showcasing leadership skills and industry knowledge.
  • Tech Skills and Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, equipment, and maintenance tools, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices. Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and modern technologies, leveraging digital tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Languages and Communication: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), facilitating communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers. Strong leadership and management skills, with problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and emotional intelligence.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A valid driver's license (preferred), enabling easy travel between sites and access to remote areas.
