Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire & Life Safety team in Riyadh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading tasks on projects, reporting to managers and directors, and maintaining high-quality deliverables. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Fire Protection Engineer to take on a leading role within a growing and ambitious company.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead tasks on projects and report to managers and directors.
  2. Lead the successful delivery of projects to a high standard.
  3. Maintain high quality of all deliverables with efficient time delivery.
  4. Act as the main point of contact for efficient project delivery.
  5. Prepare and review fire protection systems (firefighting, fire alarm, smoke control, emergency lighting, LPG) drawings for authority submission and approval.
  6. Write fire protection reports and conduct QAQC on other reports acting as deliverable approver.
  7. Produce accurate and timely submittals to agreed deadlines.
  8. Prepare and issue final FLS Strategy reports and studies when assigned by managers and directors.
  9. Lead the continuous development of FP design deliverables and FP team members.
  10. Manage project resourcing as well as FP team members with lower grades.
  11. Act as PM and PD for FLS and multidisciplinary projects as per AESG project management standards.
  12. Meet the timeline set for the generation of all fire and life safety designs, reports, and related submission tasks such as client meetings and workshops.
  13. Keep traceability and version control for all generated design and technical submittals.
  14. Contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
  15. Actively pursue continued professional development through the completion of training modules.
  16. Engage in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes and in achieving expected outputs.
  17. Conduct all FLS activities in a quality, healthy, and safe manner, reporting any observed problems/risks to the concerned head or personnel.

Requirements

  1. A BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire Safety/Protection or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 5 years experience practicing fire protection engineering/consultancy.
  3. IFE Member, CFPS, and PMP Certification.
  4. Sound technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering within Residential, Commercial, and Hotels sectors.
