Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive VAT services, including administering and registration processes.
  2. Handle all VAT matters of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing all papers on a regular basis, and managing all information data requests.
  3. Participate as the finance representative to integrate any upcoming regulations with SAP, and coordinate with the SAP IT team to resolve related issues.
  4. Prepare the monthly reconciliation VAT Report, ensure timely payment, maintain VAT balances on the General Ledger, and analyze cross-SAP transactions.
  5. Advise on all VAT-related issues concerning various transactions at all levels within the company.
  6. Prepare VAT planning and assess its impact on UGHI from a finance perspective, in accordance with Saudi Tax regulations.
  7. Control technical VAT issues to ensure accurate reporting in line with accounting standards.
  8. Complete VAT returns and provide day-to-day advice, ensuring that the coding structure and postings correctly account for VAT and that returns are processed and reviewed accurately.
  9. Manage and coordinate VAT audits.
  10. Provide support and exchange knowledge with the UGHI team, maintaining productive communication and working relationships across UGHI, while updating senior team members on VAT progress.
  11. Answer, advise, and respond to any questions from UGHI vendors, customers, and contractors related to exemptions or grandfathering.
  12. Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures, while contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a similar position.

Skills:
Very good computer skills (Microsoft Office and Internet). Good command of the English language. Strong interpersonal skills and a team player. Excellent communication skills.
