About the Role

KBR, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join our team.

This role involves working on the design of substations, transmission and distribution systems in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of plant and facility layouts
  • Guide the creation of area classifications drawings
  • Oversee the design of equipment layouts
  • Direct the development of physical design drawings (grounding/earthing, lighting protection, lighting voltage drop calculations, AG Power & Control, UG Cable/conduit, cable tray designs)
  • Manage the design of LV/MV schematics
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries
  • Proven ability to manage a team of 5-10 electrical designers
